To help means to make friends
<< Happiness is the only thing
that you get twice
when you share it >>
I experienced this very often and I enjoyed this experience. As the short story about a girl from the Children’s Village shows, I would like to motivate everybody to look forward and to stand up for a better world and a better future for our children:
For the first time Sangita got her pocket money. Together with the other kids she ran to the shop. I thought that certainly all children are going to spend all of their money. But what happened was like a heard peace prayer to god. Sangita bought a package of chewing gums and shared the 10 gums with the other, so that everyone got a piece of gum. Everybody was happy and satisfied. At least everyone shared their candies with each other.
We also share our luck with our children in Nepal. At the moment 66 children live in our Children’s Village and all of them attend school. Through private donations we are able to send 4 more kids to school and give nearly 400 children a chance to go to the nearby Shanta Secondary School. Furthermore we support a blind girl, who lives close to Kathmandu, and 10 students at the school of Kopashi in eastern Nepal.
We can all be happy to do well. Our family in Nepal is growing and needs more and more of our attention and help!
At this point the FNH Managing Committee and our children would like to thank every donator, member, sponsor and friend of the Nepalhilfe.
